Investor Day 2021
The inaugural investor day took place in LAVAN541 in New York, NY. At this pivotal event, Rekor invited investors, journalists, and financial institutions to talk tech, strategy, and vision . I designed large format print for interior walls, a slide deck, and other marketing materials.
This project called for precision and spatial awareness. I designed various icons and infographics for the slide show presentation, and helped build the deck itself.
The Infrastructors Podcast
The best way to stay up to date on all things tech, AI, government policy, and smart cities. Discussions were filmed and recorded with host Scott Stanford and various guests, all within Rekor's in-house studio. I designed the logo, cover art, and social media post templates.
Icon Library
Rekor needed imagery to represent terms that are unique to the intelligent transportation industry. I had the opportunity to build a library of 100+ unique symbols with 400+ color permutations. The icons gave a unique touch to websites, UI, slide decks, booth displays, and more.
Beginning with sketches, I envisioned multiple icon concepts for terms like "traffic analytics," "departments of transportation," and "public safety." I then drafted the first digital version, but these were too detailed and didn't scale well. So I iterated further, landing on the version seen above.
ITS World Congress
ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) America hosts the international conference in which 10,000+ attendees discover, connect, and learn about the future of transportation. For this conference I designed Rekor's booth display, printed materials, social media posts, and more.
Experience Center
The marketing and sales team wanted a space within Rekor HQ to take guests and clients and demo technology. The experience center features all of Rekor's hardware and two screens to show video and live software demonstrations. I designed the wall graphics and products name cards.
As a way to represent Rekor as a global company, I chose to display maps of each office location on the exterior windows. To get clean, minimal maps of each city, I used Google Maps styling wizard. For the interior I envisioned a futuristic smart city mural. To achieve this I created a composite of a few different cities with an emphasis on transit ways. Within the scenes are different events that Rekor's tech can identify such as roadway hazards, speeding, and traffic congestion.
